Libya

Our member organisations are on the ground in Libya and its neighbouring countries. As a response to the crisis, we have convened a 6 June meeting with OCHA and a humanitarian coordination meeting in Cairo on 8th May. This follows on from the 24th March conference in Cairo we hosted with the League of Arab States.

On 16th March we  hosted an unique teleconference to discuss the Libya crisis with humanitarian leaders from the Gulf, UN OCHA, Red Cross/Red Crescent and international NGOs operational in and around Libya.
