Training: Accounting and Compliance for Charities
Max Manzoor Wahid, The Humanitarian Forum's Finance Manager, provided a training session in accounting for small charities. Among the charities present, there were representatives from the Somali Relief Development Forum, International HIV fund and the Muslim Charities Forum.
The topics covered varied from budgeting to budget templates, monitoring tools and compliance issues. Due to its overwhelming success, the participants requested The Humanitarian Forum to host further training sessions for smaller charities in this fiel.
