Situation update
Several of The Humanitarian Forum's members are already on the ground in Haiti, offering vital help and support.
UN OCHA has published a press release which you can access in English and Arabic.
The ICRC is working with the Haitian Red Cross and IFRC as well as its other partners in the country to get aid through as quickly as possible. They are already flying in vital medical supplies, expert medical staff and economic-security, IT and logistics specialists, and have also set up an emergency missing persons website to help reunite people with missing loved ones. Oxfam has also rushed in its Latin America emergency response team, which is based in Haiti. They have a public health, sanitation and water team on the ground in Port au Prince and are preparing to fly in emergency supplies from Panama. See full details of Oxfam's response here.
Mercy Corps has deployed an experienced medical team to get vital supplies and assistance to survivors. Mercy Corps has vital experience in assisting post earthquake, having been part of the relief effort in Indonesia (2009), China and Pakistan in 2008 and Peru in 2007. Access Mercy Corps Website here.

IHH (Turkey) Has launched a response to the crisis and has already begun sending aid to Haiti. Their appeal details are here, or you can visit the website for full details.
The Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation and the Red Crescent of Islamic Republic of Iran are coordinating ongoing funds and aid from Iran to Haiti.
