Partnerships between NGOs in the North and the South can bring benefits based on their comparative advantages. Northern NGOs are well placed to engage with the donor public and to undertake policy influencing and advocacy, whilst Southern NGOs have the benefit of local knowledge and presence. In working together, Northern and Southern NGOs combine their strengths.
