Relationships between values, religious teaching and development concepts and practices

This paper examines the importance of religion in development programmes and how best to incorporate it into development policy and practice. It explores the teachings of five major religions: Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism and traditional African religion, and examines how they pertain to key themes in development.
