The successes and failures of EU Pre-accession Policy in the Balkans

The Balkan Civil society development network has created this report, entitled The Successes and Failures of EU Pre-accession Policy in the Balkans: Support to Civil Society, which examines the EU policies regarding civil society enlargement and how these have been put into effect in the Balkans.

Civil society has been a central aspect of the EU Enlargement Policy in the Balkan states. This paper examines at the successes and failures of this policy, and at lessons learned.
